Sweetie and Creepy

Some new works in progress....

Thinking of spring with the sweet little bluebird, bunny and what will be flower faces. Then I'm trying some polymer clay for the first time and a rather creepy head has emerged from the clay....not sure where I'm going with it just yet.....maybe leprechaun?

Valentine Eye Candy

This Valentine's Day why not give the gift of art.
For these valentines, I took a little departure from my usual sculpting, stretched my wings a bit, and created some unique pieces. There are 3 mixed media 5" canvas squares, a framed canvas board filled with vintage treasures in the shape of a heart and I did sculpt the very adorable "Love Bug".
Today I'll be working on getting these listed on my page at
SpookyTimeJingles
as well as Etsy. So if you want to see the details, stop on by!

Back in the studio

Yesterday I got back to work in my studio, so hopefully if all goes well, I'll be posting some pictures in a few days of the projects that I've been working on. It's great to feel the need and wanting to create and my ideas are starting to surge again.

In Memory

Sadly, Renee, has lost her long battle against luekemia. Everyone who knew Renee would agree that she was a kind, fun loving woman with a dazzling smile. This is my message for family and friends.

It will be the little things
that will be remembered,
the quiet moments,
the smiles, the laughter.
And although it may seem
hard right now,
it will be the memories
of these little things
that help to push
away the pain
and bring the smiles
back again.
