I finished!

Some of you may remember that I had started an online workshop on the Cloth and Clay Dolls some time ago. Well here is the final result of my first clay over cloth doll.

I altered the pattern slightly and created the dress from a handmade painted paper fabric technique which I read in Art Doll Quarterly.

Marie! She is a doll (literally and figuratively!) I've heard of Jane's online cloth-and-clay workshop--I think you've infused alot of personality into her!

Marie, she is wonderful! The colours are perfect for this type of doll and I really like the way you used the paper fabric for her skirt. Excellent!

Oh Marie,

She's just adorable. I agree, it's very different from what you normally do, but after all, as artist we get to play with different mediums and step out of the familiar and enter into unknown.

Love all your work!!

Abrazos,
Georgina
