Our weekend

This past weekend's fall weather was the perfect background for outdoor parties. Jim and I were invited to attend a neighbor's twin 3 year olds birthday party and the Hurlz-it was a huge source of fun once again for both young and old! We're on the A-list now!! If you are a regular reader of my blog you've seen this Hurlz-it demo in a past post.

Then on Sunday we had another surprize birthday party for our Aunt Betty who turned 85! I just had to share some pictures of this day with you as this is a woman who is on the go all the time. There is a friend in the family who restores old cars and motorcycles and one day he was showing Betty his latest restoration which was a Harley with a sidecar! She mentioned that she had never ridden in a motorcycle sidecar. So for her birthday he would take her for a ride and since this was a surprize party....this is how she would arrive! We gathered at the end of the lane and waited for her entrance and yelled SURPRIZE!

Like I said she is a woman that can't be stopped...she got up to the dance floor several times dancing the jitterbug and this time with one of her great-grandsons.

Even sang karaoke with her two daughters!

**A toast to Betty** you are certainly an inspiration to me and I'm sure there are many others who feel the same way!

What a beautiful blog! Loved reading about your weekend, and especially about the birthday girl! Gotta love that generation. They have been through it all - they are tough! Bravo to them! Thanks for a great narration!

What fun! Maybe Aunt Betty would like to take the Hurlz-it for a whirl, lol! She sounds a lot like my 93 year old grandma. She still dances and argues politics.
Thanks for sharing:)
